About me
I'm happiest at the intersection of design, development and people. I think great products are built by happy people, and I love helping foster those relationships, skills and environments. My favorite days are spent working across disciplines: mentoring engineers to hone their UI, UX, performance and accessibility skills; building features while learning a new framework, or cleaning up technical debt; and collaborating with designers.
I live for the intersection of design and code, and I enjoy helping bring engineers and designers closer together. I love bringing designs from a static mockup to prototype to a production-ready product; my favorite days are spent working closely with developers and designers, poring over design details, intent, and interactions, while balancing technical possibilities and constraints.
Most important to me is bringing people together and growing passionate, empathetic teams. I believe the best products are the result of teams who care deeply not only for their work and their users, but also for each other.
Outside of work I love to hang out with my cat Ned, read literally anyone's memoir (I've never been disappointed!), travel, eat and drink adventurously, and lounge in large bodies of water (ask me about my pool floatie collection!).

A visual and interactive guide to Sass & Compass color functions. Built on Ruby on Rails, the backend takes a hex from the client, compiles Sass files with the passed value, and returns the compiled styles for the client to inject into the site for live updating results.
